Shoe Carnival
Nothing is better in life than a good, new pair of shoes, be it famous footwear, some other designer's creation, or just shoes, pure and simple, taken from an obscure shop, with no tag or fancy label, but beautiful and fresh looking.
My shoes passion seems to be shared by other people as well, because I've read so many blogs where people write rants and ramblings about their beloved Nike sneakers, or about their prom shoes, or bridal shoes, or even about the Nordic Born Shoes which look so cool!
Shoes Make Great Souvenirs
What fridge magnets? What key chains? What photo cards? There are few souvenirs better than a pair of shoes. I've got one from pretty much everywhere I've traveled, be it for business or pleasure. I've got nice beach slippers from Thailand, cool Ugg boots from Sweden, lots of fashionable sandals from Vienna, a very nice pair of black sandals from Corfu... and the list could go on an on, and never ending, like my wardrobe.
Since I don'r spend money on gadgets and cigarettes and drinks, I need to have my passions, and these happen to be strongly related to dressing, outfits, fashion, shoes, belts and jewelery.
A Shoes Saying From Marketing
I remember reading in a marketing book about two business men, wrecked on a savage island, where all inhabitants were walking barefoot.
One businessman says to the other: look, those people wear no shoes. There's no potential for opening up a shoes business here.
The other one replied: Are you crazy? There is a huge potential, exactly because nobody has any shoes. You just have to create the need and you'll get rich.
